As part of the Indiana University Consortium on the Study of Religion, Ethics and Society seminar series, “Moral Thinking in Artworks of Economic Failure and Economic Success,” Assistant Professors Andrew Kopec and Steve Buttes will host a reading group to discuss several films, poems and essays that explore the relationship between ideas of morality and notions of economic success and economic failure. The session will introduce ideas motivating the seminar and invites students and faculty to engage in conversation about these texts as well as those at the center of their own work.
Light refreshments will be served. For access to the group’s materials, email Andrew Kopec (firstname.lastname@example.org) and Steve Buttes (email@example.com).
