Identity and Inequality in the Workplace

Nov 14, 2017
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Description

This event has been rescheduled for November 16 at the ACPL Pontiac Branch.

This year, University Communitiy Conversations (UC²) is exploring how we care for the community in northeast Indiana. Wage inequality has increased across the board during the past 40 years, a fact brought into relief during the most recent economic downturn. Alongside rising economic inequality are a number of identities (racial, ethnic, gender, etc.) that play a role in deciding where one falls on that line of inequality.

Panelists:

Christine Marcuccilli, associate director of compliance, Title IX coordinator, IPFW

Victoria Sarjeant, assistant director of alumni relations, IPFW

Ken Christmon, associate vice chancellor for admissiona and chief diversity officer, IPFW

Kim McDonald, professor of organizational leadership, associate dean of the College of Engineering, Technology, and Computer Science.
