This in-depth course includes didactic instruction on orthodontic procedures, tooth morphology, and occlusion, as well as laboratory and clinical instruction. Students will need to review the Palmer Notation before class begins, as this is the numbering system the orthodontic profession uses.
Students are to wear street clothes and not uniforms from private practice. Up to 10 students will be accepted this semester.
Must be a graduate of an ADA-Commission on Dental Accreditation Dental Assisting Program2016-17 IPFW CDA students must have at least a 2.5 cumulative PROGRAM GPA to qualify for admission. (Highest GPA will be offered admission first)Department Approval. Students who qualify will receive a department override so they may register with IPFW Continuing Studies.
Note: Attendance is MANDATORYto receive the certificate of completion. Registration December 1-23, 2016.
