Modern Love: Finding Your Signal Within All The Noise
Psychologists have long suggested that the more choices we have, the more paralysis we face in committing to decisions. In this interactive talk, we will explore the pros and cons of a tinder-fied life, where a new option exists at every swipe. Does the endless array of options really help us lead a better life? Or are we sacrificing friendships, romantic relationships, family connections, and real intimacy for a love affair with our phones? Education will be offered on how to shape better relationships and mental health.
Speaker: Dr. Michelle Drouin, Ph.D., Professor in IPFW’s Department of Psychology.
IPFW Walb Student Union, Classic Ballroom
